The American Tree Farm System
(ATFS) is a program of the American Forest Foundation, a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes sustainable
management of forests through education and outreach to private
forest landowners. Founded in 1941, ATFS is the oldest and
largest forest certification, conservation, and advocacy program
in the United States. ATFS has 80,000 members who own 26 million
acres of private forestland. America's Tree Farmers are
committed to excellence in forest stewardship.
Georgia's Tree Farm Program
has grown to encompass 1606 Certified Tree Farms on nearly 2
million acres. In 2006, Georgia's Tree Farm Program
restructured under the leadership of a 12 member Executive
Committee (9 Volunteer Inspectors and 3 Tree Farmers). Twenty
District and Region Chairs across the state play a critical role
in accomplishing Georgia's Tree Farm program goals. The 2008
Chairman is Mr. Ed Withrow with West Fraser Timber Company in
Warm Springs, GA.
International Forest Company is celebrating 25 years of
producing container seedlings for landowners throughout the
Southeast. The company produces loblolly, slash, shortleaf,
virginia and longleaf pine as well as oaks and various hardwood
tree seedlings. The nursery is located in Moultrie, Georgia.

LandMark
Systems, a General Services Administration (GSA) approved
contractor, is a leading provider of technical products/services

Marden
Industries began in 1933 and takes great pride in being a world
leader in the designing, engineering and development of brush
