Forests Forever - Mobile Classroom
The Mobile Classroom is a 48-foot trailer with 12 computers
which run "Georgia Forests Forever", an interactive CD-ROM-
with the introductions by recording artist Trisha Yearwood.
The CD uses videos and games to
demonstrate the importance
of forests to both the environment
and the economy by discussing such topics as conservation,
community growth, wildlife and the products we utilize.
Since, it's rollout in March, 2000, over 93,000 people have visited the classroom. To find out

Forests Forever 7- year Report
The Georgia Forests Forever Mobile Classroom and CD Rom
project was conceptualized in 1998 by a team of
collaborators that included Georgia Forestry Association
and Foundation, Georgia Forestry Commission, Sustainable
Forestry Initiative, USDA Forest Service, Georgia Project
Learning Tree, the Society of American Foresters,
University of Georgia's Warnell School of Forestry and
Natural Resources as well as a host of support from the
forestry community.
