Course Directors

Georgia Forestry Association, founded in 1907, encourages stewardship of Georgia's forest resources by supporting education and research, promoting sound environmental practices, and by fostering a healthy business and political climate for the Georgia forestry community.  GFA works with landowners to protect their property rights and to adopt sound land management practices.  GFA also educates community members including business, environmental and political leaders about responsible forest management practices, reforestation, and benefits derived from forestry and landowner rights.  The association keeps members informed of legislative and regulatory issues that can affect the long-term health and value of forested land.
