Nominations for 'Wise Owl' now being accepted
It's time again to honor the one person who is judged by his or her peers to have made the most significant contribution to Georgia forestry. A link is provided below which provides the names of previous recipients of this prestigious award and which will allow Georgia Forestry Association members to nominate the individual believed to be a superlative contributor to Georgia's forestry community and to the Georgia Forestry Association. Nomination forms must be returned to the Association no later than May 20.

The Wise Owl Award is the top honor presented throughout the forestry in Georgia community each year. The person selected to receive the award will be honored during the Association's Annual Meeting in Savannah, July 18-20.

Paying tribute to those on whose shoulders we stand is one of the most important and inspiring things we can do. 'Whooooo' is your 2009 Wise Owl candidate?
