Stancil named GFA Director of Government Affairs
Josh Stancil was named recently as the Georgia Forestry Association's Director of Government Affairs. Stancil previously held the position of Director of Forest Policy.

Stancil's new responsibilities will include oversight of GFA's legislative and regulatory affairs program, where he will focus on strengthening GFA's ties to state legislators and other key policy officials. He also will be the staff liaison to GFA's Government Affairs Team, Logging & Transportation Committee and Environmental Committee. Stancil will report periodically on all federal and state legislative and regulatory activity important to Georgia's forestry community.
